We went to Greece for 2 weeks at the beginning of July. What an awesome vacation!!!! We flew in to Athens, spent a day there and then drove to Volos. On our way to Volos we drove through the mountains and stopped by Delphi. Very neat place. After arriving in Volos, we spent a few nights there and then headed to Skiathos where we met up with our Skipper Andrew for a 1 week adventure on a sailboat. I must admit it ranks up there as one of the best vacations we have ever taken. Once you spend a week on a boat with no itinerary, you really don't want to spend any vacations in a hotel. I think I am still relaxed from the trip :)

Athens
This is the view from a REALLY fancy hotel bar. You could just smell the money! Not to mention how much we spent on 4 drinks. 100 Euro!!! The view was definately worth it.

These are wild goats that come down the mountain at sunset. The live on one of the islands, which is where we anchored for a night. The leader of the pack was wearing a bell and as they came down the mountain you could here where he was. They were very hard to see, but we managed to capture a decent picture with the little bit of zoom we had on the camera.

Yes, the water is really this clear. Beautiful!

The cove right next to Mamma Mia

I am by no means a professional photographer. The full moon was absolutely beautiful that night. It took many many pictures, most of which were black, but I managed to get a decent picture.

Marco and Dave cooked awesome chicken for dinner on the beach.
